The Builder

I built my first instrument - a banjo - in my college dorm room in 1981. I suppose this might have seemed a little odd to my roommates who were really into prog rock . . . but it made perfect sense to me. I wanted a better banjo than I could afford to buy. The only reasonable solution was to build it myself.
